The Process
Recertified, not resold.
An archive winder does not reach this page until it has passed through the same bench that builds a new one. Three stages, no exceptions.

Examined against Orbita specification
Every motor, gearbox, and control board is bench-tested. Cosmetics are assessed and any deviation from new is recorded against the piece.

Restored to mechanical as-new
Wear components are renewed and the winder is re-cycled through its full duty profile until performance is indistinguishable from a new unit.

Sealed and individually identified
Only then is the piece certified, given its place in the Archive, and offered with the full two-year Orbita warranty.

Each unit is ex-display or briefly owned, individually identified, and traceable. No anonymous returns — every piece has a recorded provenance.
Identical coverage
Archive winders carry the full two-year Orbita warranty — the same coverage as new — with in-house repair indefinitely thereafter at the original Wilmington bench.
Genuinely scarce
Archive stock is finite and non-recurring. Each piece is added individually; once it is gone, it does not return to the collection.
